Would you consider your transgender ideologies to be extreme? Or are they simply run of the mill, regular transgender ideologies? I think that my transgender ideologies are fairly tame, personally. You know, cross-sex hormones over the counter, normalizing social transition, and granting us the same broad access to civil liberties and legal protections that cisgender people enjoy.
What’s so scary about that?
Well, anyway, we’re all domestic terrorists now. Sorry about that, but you’re just gonna have to learn to live with it! We’ve entered a brave new era of American history where the federal government plundering the treasury to distribute wealth among their defense contractor buddies while they wage an illegal war in Iran, not to mention sending their jackboot gestapo thugs to literally terrorize every large city in a state with a governor who is outspoken against Trump, aren’t the real terrorists.
No, it’s the ANTIFA super soldiers and militant transgenders everybody should be worried about. Obviously.
Last week the White House released their 2026 “United States Counterterrorism Strategy,” a handy who’s who guidebook for any aspiring fascist scumbag to identify the most serious threats facing America. Incidentally, it’s the first CT strategy released since June 2021, when President Biden’s White House identified mostly right-wing mass murderers and January 6 rioters as threats to everyday Americans and national security. Thankfully, we learned our lesson collectively and would never return to power any of the men responsible for the January 6, 2021, fascist attack on our nation’s capitol.
What’s changed since 2021, you ask? Well, the newly designated key threats to American prosperity are as follows:
- Narcoterrorists and Transnational Gangs
- Legacy Islamist Terrorists
- Violent Left-Wing Extremists, including Anarchists and Anti-Fascists
Oh.
Uh-oh! Uh-oh! It seems I’ve been designated a violent left-wing extremists because of my ideological belief in the abolishment of socioeconomic tyranny from an unappointed ruling class. That’s my bad, guys! I mean, I do think it’s weird that the White House would designated anti-fascists as their enemies… like, that’s saying the quiet part out loud, right? Who are the designated enemies of anti-fascists? What does anti-fascism seek to accomplish as a movement? It just seems sort of tacky to outright admit you’re a fascist regime, if you ask me.
The document goes on to really hammer home just who they believe to be under attack, and who they believe is doing the attacking, citing “the politically motivated killings of Christians and conservatives committed by violent left-wing extremists,” and in particular, “ the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a radical who espoused extreme transgender ideologies.”
Never mind that to this day, there is no concrete, or even circumstantial, evidence connecting Kirk’s alleged assassin to any left-wing organization or group. He has been accused by American politicians of holding certain views based entirely on hearsay, and the exact motivation of his supposed slaying of far-right YouTube agitator Charlie Kirk (whose political think tank, Turning Point USA, personally bussed 350 people to the January 6 riots) remains unclear.
The document then says national counterterrorism efforts “will also prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist,” and that they will “use all the tools constitutionally available to us to map them at home, identify their membership, map their ties to international organizations like Antifa, and use law enforcement tools to cripple them operationally before they can maim or kill the innocent.”
I won’t lie. That’s scary stuff. What constitutes radically pro-transgender ideology? Is affiliation with anarchism as a political ideology, which is not inherently violent, grounds for violations of your civil liberties and even your indefinite detention by Trump’s violent thugs? Truthfully, I don’t know. Even a year ago, I would have found it hard to believe that a government funded paramilitary organization full of federal officers would be executing innocent Americans in the streets of my city, but here we are.
The bulk of this document is, in truth, about waging war against foreign entities. Narcotics and firearms smugglers connected to foreign cartels, supposed Islamist terrorist groups in the Middle East, and people who are planning to carry out large scale violence against America and/or Americans. The White House assures us that CT operations will be carried out “apolitically,” and that America’s counterterrorism powers “will not be used to target our fellow Americans who simply disagree with us. We will not permit the weaponization of America’s unparalleled CT capabilities for partisan purposes and in contravention of every American’s God-given rights.”
It’s hard to take those promises at face value, considering. Then again, isn’t much of Trump’s posturing just loud noise signifying nothing? Much of his political maneuvering has, to date, been an attempt to terrorize without followthrough. Innumerable harms have been done to America as a nation and Americans as a people, particularly our most marginalized citizens, in the last year… but does that mean we should be worrying about masked, unidentifiable “counterterrorists” abducting us from our homes in the middle of the night?
I don’t know. Nobody can truly know until these things do or do not happen. As always, I recommend you be very careful about the things you say on the internet (even in spaces you believe to be secure) and over the phone, and do everything within your power to stick up for and protect your neighbors, especially those of us who are marginalized and afraid right now.
