Tucker Carlson’s Violent Anti-Trans Hate Leaves Fox-News

The Fox News host is parting ways with the network who profited off his propaganda for years. Here are some of Tucker Carlson’s most dangerous moments of fomenting anti-tras bias.

Multiple news outlets are reporting that Tucker Carlson, who known for propogating misinformation as well as promoting extreme racism, homophobia, transphobia, and white natonalist views, is leaving Fox News. Carlson’s show, which aired every weeknight at 8pm, was the top-rated program of its type.

Carlson’s extremism when it came to trans issues was well known, although transgender people were far from his only target. His show frequently provided a national stage for anti-trans activists seeking to amplify misleading local stories and present a biased picture of transgender people in the US. Another notable example was when Carlson hosted the father of a transgender girl who is not considered safe enough for unsupervised visitation with his children, but claims the girl’s mother is acting inappropriately by affirming his daughter in accordance with medical advice.

By far the most concerning aspect of Carlson’s rhetoric and choice of guests, however, were the times he implyed that violence against trans people was an appropriate or justifiable response. In the wake of the shooting at Club Q, which left five people dead, Carlson hosted a Nazi sympathizer from Gays Against Groomers who suggested that the fault for the shooting lay with the LGBTQ+ community itself.

"The tragedy that happened in Colorado Springs the other night, who know, it was expected and predictable," she told Carlson. "I don't think it's going to stop until we end this evil agenda that is attacking children."

When a transgender man was alleged to have been the attacker in a school shooting in Nashville, Carlson’s rhetoric intensified further. The Fox host called the trans movement “the natural enemy” of Christianity, and promoted the unfounded theory that the shooter targeted Christians.

The trans movement is targeting Christians, including with violence.

The cause of Carlson's booting from the network is unclear, with widespread speculation that it has to do with the multimillion dollar settlement Fox reached with Dominion Voting Systems over the network knowingly aired false claims about Dominion’s voting machines to cast doubt on the result of the 2020 presidential race.
