Trump Issues New Threats Amid Dem Betrayals

While congressional Democrats and our outgoing Democratic president throw the trans community under the bus, president-elect Donald Trump threatens to nearly outlaw our existence.

Less than a full month away from Donald Trump taking office for a second term, the vile bloated bronzer stain is promising to issue executive orders “on day one” that would, in essence, bar transgender Americans from almost every facet of daily life.

Yes, following an historic loss by predictably ineffectual Democrats, Trump is regrettably still set to take office on January 20th. Many losers have suggested that we, the trans community, are somehow to blame for this catastrophic failure on the Dems’ part to garner enough support to defeat one of the most noxious contenders for the presidency in American history, we know this is not true. Your typical voter doesn’t particularly care what we’re up to, with only the most extremist fringe groups devoting time and energy to naysaying our existence. Unfortunately, Trump and his ilk won the throne a second time after dumping more than $200 million into anti-trans attack ads during the elections, so right now they (and the Dems) are primed to see us as a winning target to bully.

Now, Trump is making yet more promises regarding his plans for our community come inauguration day.

At a Phoenix rally hosted by Turning Point USA, a far right think tank and advocacy organization founded by small face big head medium body Charlie Kirk, Trump declared: “With a stroke of my pen, on day one, we are going to stop the transgender lunacy,” to cheers from his dopey audience. He went on, “I will sign executive orders to end child sexual mutilation, get transgender [sic] out of the military, and out of our elementary schools and middle schools and high schools.”

Trump is in luck on his first point, since the thing he’s describing isn’t actually happening the way he envisions it. Studies show that no gender-affirming surgeries are performed on minors 12 and under in the US, and that the incidence rate of these surgeries in teens aged 15 to 17 was 2.1 in 100,000, far lower than the rate of comparable affirming cosmetic surgeries in same aged cisgender youth.

The rest of his threats are, unfortunately, very real. We’ve reported before on rumors that Trump was considering a second ban on transgender military personnel, even harsher than the one he instituted during his first term as president, and it seems he’s now verbally confirming those plans. Ejecting trans people from primary and secondary education may prove more difficult, but we’ve already seen plenty of that in Ron DeSantis’ Florida over the past few years, so it’s far from impossible.

“We will keep men out of women’s sports,” Trump wrapped up, “and that will likewise be done on day one. Under the Trump administration, it will be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female.”

Compelling private sporting organizations to ban transgender athletes outright might be hard (or not, since so many of them are already doing it for fun), but banning them from school sports teams might just require some tweaking of Title IX interpretation, as we’ve seen in the past. As for the government only recognizing two genders, it’s entirely possible that federal organizations might stop accepting X as a gender marker, or prohibit changing markers outright. It’s impossible to be sure yet, as Trump has laid out no concrete plans besides threatening to issue executive orders.

This disgusting news comes hot on the heels of other disgusting news: A couple weeks ago we reported that congress was set to potentially pass a national defense bill that had some extra anti-trans provisions sneaked in just for kicks and, predictably, passed on the 18th and signed by well known spineless sack of shit and Weekend at Bernies understudy Joe Biden on the 23rd.

Truly, with “allies” like these, who needs enemies?
