Abbigail Wheeler’s story fell apart in the face of evidence she never saw a trans woman naked at the Y and her family voluntarily pulled her from the team.

Abbigail Wheeler posted a sign saying “Biological Women Only” after having been repeatedly informed by Y personnel that state law required the facility to allow trans women.

The bogus charges were the result of Republican officials in Xenia, Ohio targeting a trans woman for harassment for using a changing room according to YMCA policy and state law.

A trans woman in Xenia, Ohio has been charged with 3 misdemeanors, apparently for changing in the women’s facilities at the YMCA after Republican officials asked local women to file a police report.
