DC Preschool Panic: A Male Teacher is PREGNANT!?!?

The Washington Examiner is all atwitter at the scandalous idea that children would be taught to enunciate by a trans man with a baby in his belly.

In a piece for the Washington Examiner (a right wing DC news and opinion website), trending news editor Julia Johnson writes about a private local pre/early elementary school (serving children 18 months to grade 3), that announced recently one of their teachers, a trans man who works for the school as a speech pathologist, is carrying a pregnancy.

Johnson’s story is fairly newsy, but she betrays the anti-trans lean common to website by embedding a reaction tweet by a conservative activist, and by implying that the information being given to parents about the teacher is somehow inappropriate.

It seems likely that the story will recieve more coverage on the right. If so, we’ll be following it closely.
